how many of you have changed out your door pins? how hard is it do do....can i do it myself? also, if you did change them where did you get the pins from. i know http://andyz28.com/ and www.top-downsolutions.com sells them

I've changed the pins myself. It doesn't completely cure a sagging door, but helps termendiously. Have someone lift hte door up and down and see if you can see the slope around the pin, or part of the hinge stuff.
If its the pin, you have to unbolt the door from the car which is tricky and tedious.
You need another person to hold the door because it's heavy. I did it by myself and had to jack the door up with a floor jack.
You don't want to separate the door from the car very far because of wiring if you have pw door locks/windows. |
