So, I am going out with a young lady on thrusday.

So, being the ubergeek that I am, I am having a bit of trouble coming up with where to take here. (my ideas were really lame, like the space exploration documentry movie at OMSI, or a trip to Fry's Wink

) So please, any good ideas for chill places in p-town to go get a beer, or cup of coffee, and just chill-out and talk would be great. Because I am really not coming up with anything.

upon seeing the title, my first thought was your beyond our help
but after reading the subject, its a worthy cause
like Paul said, talk with the lady & see what kind of "event" or what she kind of had in mind, then go from there, if she leaves it up to you, find a neutral option, movie, or a brewskie (if shes legal, us old timers gotta remember about you youngsters), things that women typical like, but us guys dont usually care for, i know im having a hard time thinking of some currently
now i know all us guys here are thinking lets take her to all the KEWL guy stuff, but that comes later

Thanks for the input guys, of course I still have no clue where to go, but you all know I won't descide until like 10 minutes after I pick her up. Wink

BTW Ed, I don't think I'll try that line, actualy, me and her went to high school together, Its more a chance to hang out, I don't persay plan on hitting on her.

Paul -- I don't really know what it is, to tell you the truth, I have no idea of her level of interest, and I'm not sure what mine is either. You should know, that I can hardly make a descision about where I want to eat, let along figure out what coffee house / pub / bar / whatever, to go to with someone else. Wink

chris says there is a cool coffee shop/dessert place one block over from lovejoy and 11th... he can't remember the name of it. he has taken a few young ladies there.

Well Llama, if you live as close to me as I think you do... my suggestions to Gustav's right next to Washington Square. Great food, great service, good presentation, and their mixed drinks loosen you up pretty fast (but I didnt know that if anyone asks Wink

).
