I had mentioned before that I was to head to the great NW for a wedding that was to happen back in Dec. It got post-poned due to medical issues. So now it is at the end of June.

So I will be in Portland/Salem area from June 24th to morning of June 29th. Wedding is afternoon of 29th, and I'm leaving on a redeye the 30th.

I know thats all weeknights. But does anyone want to do a gathering? I also need a reason to drive into southern Washington so I can add a new state to my list Very Happy

Also, since I have a week. What are some neat things to visit in the areas? I like waterfalls which I know you have plenty of. But what else? I will be bringing my good camera as well Smile I was over at the beach last time I went to Oregon.

There are tons of outdoor things to see. How much time and how much driving are you willing to do?

Since you have never been into Washington, going to see Mt St Helens would be worth the trip, then do the Columbia Gorge waterfalls along old HWY-30. Those are two of the big things that you don't want to miss.

I am sure I would be up for a least a dinner get together on one of the nights you are in town.

It appears Seattle is about 4hrs from Portland driving? Thats not to bad aslong as I stay the night in that area.

I see there are 2 light houses over by the coast in the same park. So I have kinda put that on my list.

Multumomah falls is on my for sure list. I got pissed off when I found out we drove buy it last time and I didnt know it.

I know the family I am visting wants me to do a family shoot. The daughter also wants to hang out. Not sure what else.
