My little brother's car. He got tired of driving an old car and upgraded.
I bought this car about 3 years ago, then took the TPI stuff off of it and gave it to my brother. Dad and my brother put it back together with a carburetor.

'87 LB9 longblock, stock with roller cam and 1-piece RMS
Edelbrock carb on aluminum GM intake
Good running 700R4 with TCI vacuum lock-up kit
2.73 gears, maybe has a posi but if so it's pretty worn out IIRC from when I was driving it. Razz
New paint 2 years ago or so, no rust
Interior is good, seats not so good. Has seatcovers
Tires are good
Some no-name muffler and giant tips. Sounds pretty dang good.

I am told the t-top seals leak a bit. They were fine when I had it, but you all know how that goes. Wink Overall, it's a decent daily driver and plenty reliable. Not the fastest one on the road, but at least you'll look good driving it.

$2200 for the crew.

Actually looks good without the spoiler! Man, those tail lights look so much better than mine! Sad If he decides to part it out let me know! Wink

Wow it looks great! Does it run as smooth as it looks?

Yep, runs as good as an LB9 with a carb should. Razz It's a great cruiser or DD, but pretty slow due to 700R4 and 2.73 gears; it runs smooth in any weather, sounds great and rides good.
I like the no spoiler look on this car too. When Dad painted it he smoothed the holes in the hatch over because the stock spoiler had long since disintegrated and my little brother didn't want to pony up for a replacement.

I remembered a couple more things.
The guy I bought it from had just paid to have a new steering box and all new steering components put in so it steers nice and tight, just like new.
When I bought it the waterpump was bad so I am pretty sure the waterpump on it is only a few years old.
I know my brother has put on a brand new distributor and a brand new Edelbrock 1406 carburetor since I gave it to him.

I found another few pics.
Here is when I first bought it a few years ago. Original paint, some body repair on the driver's side and a replacement fender sprayed original color on the passenger's side.

Here it is after the paint job and a wash.

And one more interior. (It has a stereo now)

Bump. Dad wants to sell this car soon, he's tired of it taking up space.

Call it $1800 for the crew and you have a sweet ride. Wink

Somebody buy this thing. It's too nice to sit around and not be driven.

$1800

I'm really surprised it hasn't sold yet! Interest in these cars will increase as the weather gets better. Wink
