Even if the kit was that cheap, it wouldn't work for their current application...lol! _________________

It's not on craigslist but I noticed a set of polished 91-92 Z28/S10 wheels at the Lynnwood Picknpullapart-whatever _________________

Actually, after looking at some comps, my initial asking price is not that bad.
1. The car runs. (timing and carb just need to be dialed in and new mufflers)
2. The outside is one color. ($300.00 Macco job would make it a 5-10 footer)
3. The interior is intact. (Just needs new driver seat, window regulator and radio.)
4. The wheels match.
5. Most of the electronics work.
6. Location (there were a couple of nicer cars, but in remote locations, and whether they ran was questionable.)
Basically, another $1000.00, and this car could probably be a daily driver.
One of the problems I had when trying to sell the Blazer was trying to sell it for $3500.00 and people asked what was wrong with it. Even at $5k, people expect there to be issues that need to be addressed with the Camaro without even saying it. I don't need to sell it. I enjoy going out in the evening and tinkering with it, of course, to the dismay of my wife. If I were to sell it, the money would go right into the 85, which I'd like, but either way, the plans are to get another engine for it, but it will take longer. Hell, if I end up keeping it, the LG4 might go into the 80 as I think it's better than the LO3/187s that are in it now. Who knows? _________________

By way of comparison, my '80 Camaro cost $900 and had perfect interior and every thing functioned. Of course, my '80 was only about 13 years old at the time. |

Do you remember how it looked on the outside when you bought it? Also, do you remember where it ended up a week after you sold it? _________________

See, I look at those and yours (even though I haven't seen it in person) and think it's probably sellable for $2500-$3000 at the most given the current market. Don't let it stop ya though, I have been known to try and flip cars for way more than they are worth in my day too. Just expect to get lowballed and sit on it for a long time at $5k. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56
