ok so, my fender well liners dont fit very well it seems like they are too short and ive tried to get em back in and its not going to well, could i use a more flexible plastic and make my own or if i bought new ones would that work better?

Laughing I need to take mine out or trim them, they rub pretty badly.
I'm just not a fan of spraying road grime into the fenderwells, hence the trimming.

People who take out their fenders are crazy people. I just let mine rub, doesn't bother me. Vulcanized rubber beats ABS plastic. Razz

Apparently I've been letting mine rub for two years since I lowered it more, so I am right there with you bud!
I actually rub on the frame at full lock since I have an '84 Z28 so it doesn't have the narrow steering stops that the IROC boxes got. I do have the fast ratio though.

Mine actually rubbed worse at stock height. Rubbed a couple holes in it. Since I dropped it the rubbing quit.

im not worried about it rubbin cause i already cut out spots for the tire (errr more like just let the tire rub holes in it) but i cant get them to line up for some reason with the holes on the fender i dont know if they shrunk or what, i just need em to fit, could i make new ones out of like dynamat or somthing?

How about mounting to the fender, then drilling new holes in the plastic? I did that on one of mine.

hmmm thats a good idea ill try that, i also found out today that aftermarket fenders dont allow your GFX to match up right ughhh

yeah, sucks that i just paid a ton of money for a paint job too, i guess one day when i have a different car to drive for my daily ill get a original fender and get it painted haha
