What up fellas? Just got back from my latest journey to the middle east and have been doing some planning for my next go-fast goodies. Unfortunately my tags are expired for this year and I'm leaving again for another 6-mos (in like 3-weeks); so I have lots of time to plan.
Was thinking of changing my rear slicks from 26 to either 27 or 28" dia. I'm running MT ET Streets now 255/50/R16 with a 26" dia.
Current setup runs 115 mph on the dyno and mirrored at the track. So, will going larger dia. tire help or hurt??? I certainly don't want to give up 60' times which I think may happen...thoughts? _________________ 1990 IROC-Z, 383 HSR, 3.70 9-Bolt

Thanks! Your ride is looking nice...well compared to what I remember of it several years back anyway!
yeah totally sucks I have to leave again. I just transferred to a new command, coming from a command that was on deployment. Talk about bad timing...Anyway, I'll be back this Sept for approx 1yr so I expect to do some more work/tuning on the Iroc over this coming winter. _________________ 1990 IROC-Z, 383 HSR, 3.70 9-Bolt
