So over the Christmas losure I'm doing my motor swap, I need to buy an electronic (factory) Vss for the transmission. I've been jumping from manufacturer to manufacturer trying to find he part. I looked on rock auto and they show 2 different ones with different prices, the only noted difference is one is a 52mm and one is a 22mm, which one do I need????

If someone can clear this up I'd appreciate it

Big is 700R4, little is T5.

Try the yards. A 90-92 veesix T5 car should have the correct sensor.

There are several Birds at Tumwater. You would have to call them to confirm years.

I'll bet you All Auto Wrecking up the road from me has a few. No idea if they would sell them individually.

Rollins lists one on Car-Part but their inventory system is so god-awful and their yard is such a disaster that I hate to send any business their way. Laughing

Just start calling yards. Don't ask if they have the sensor, just ask if they have a 90-92 with a stick and not the TBI engine.

Depends on what yard you go to and who you get at the counter. A lot of places up here are we-pull because of morons hacking everything up.

Interchange shows 90-95 F-body only, so I'm guessing the 3.4L T5 in the fourthgen used the same unit. Veesix fourthgens with a stick are dime-a-dozen so you should be good.

If you need any help text me, I'm not far from all these yards South of Tacoma. Cool

If you can figure out the delco part you need. You can go to there site and it will cross reference into all models/engine/trans that had that part.

I have a pick n pull here, if you really really need one, I will go take a look.

I'll save you the trouble since I bookmarked it when I looked it all up last night. Wink
