Well it has been the better part of seven years since I’ve touched my z28 but all that changed yesterday.
Things I realized about storing my car for that long:
1) The gas is now bad.
2) I’ll be buying new tires.
3) Using one color to wire alarm and not label things is not smart.
4) Everything I needed to do on the car when I put it in storage still has to be done.
I’ll post some pictures once I figure out how to get her back to my shop (Lowering is cool until you need to put it on a trailer.)
The few who know me may be wondering what I’ve been doing over this vast expanse of time. In a nut shell I bought a 96 C4 w/LT4, had too much fun and ended up having to redo the entire top end. Started a company blended industrial detergent which has been an interesting/educational experience. And most recently purchased a 1911 Stanley Model 62 Roadster. Yep, it’s a steam car. I got a website for it www.steamcrazy.com
Hope all is well with y'all. I'll be posting some pics of my Thirdgen related progress as it arises.
On a side note, I’m clearing out my thirdgen parts which includes everything convertible specific from an 88 Iroc that was sadly hit in the front and written off. I’ll post an ad in the classifieds in the next couple days.

DAN!!!
Good to hear from you. Sorry I couldn't hook up with you when I was up in Vancouver last time.
Hey, if you need Steamer info, let me know. You know my roommates grandpa has a Stanley, and knows many of the steam people (I know you do to, but I thought you had something other than a Stanley before this). I can get you in touch with him and his contacts if you do need anything.

John, it's good to hear from you too. I also own a 1912 Model T which I've had many years. I imagine that is the vehicle you are thinking of. What is your roommates grandpa's name? I wouldn't be surprised if I know him, Steam is a pretty small community. |

Schultzy, Twilight it's good to here from you guys! Cheezx is doing well. He's spending lots of time on Subaru's with large turbos...
If you guys were planning on coming North anytime in the near future I'd be happy to host a garage tour of our new facility.
