14 spline is the dead giveaway. SBC had more, Ford had less.
Back on topic, this seems like a decent deal on a Holley:

You finally got one from a V8 car.
The tag comes back as an '84 L69 car with these ratios:
R 2.76 2.95 1.94 1.34 1.00 0.73
That pressure plate looks like it's been on the bottom of the ocean but the flywheel may be turnable. |

Not a bad deal there. Strange looking flywheel though. Looks like he's got the hydraulics there too. Hehehe Super/T5 lmao _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

Ya. I was thinking that not too bad because he has a lot of the extra stuff I need like the pedal assembly. But I will wait a week or two and then drop a 250 offer on him perhaps |

Ya prob. I dont want one for 450 bucks that bad. I am cheap. I like to buy stuff when people really need the cash now. |

I know. Could part it easily for that price. Couldn't get ahold of the guy. I'll try again tomorrow. |

T5 put in in 2001, rebuilt in 2004, and needs to be rebuilt again...
Might be why they didn't offer the 5.7 with a T5 from the factory? |

Rebuilt by aamco. They can do automatics. It's hard to find a standard guy that's worth a damn.
God knows what kind of shifter hole debotchery went on also.
For what's wrong and that nasty interior, he's asking a bit much IMHO. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

Yeah, AAMCO is the last place I would have anything rebuilt.
I dunno, seemed good to me compared to how much everything else out there is going for. A T5 is pretty cheap, and the one in there can't be that messed up if he's driven over 2000 miles on it. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56
