Anyone local have any, or any in a yard there someone can go look for me?
Ive msg Hawks... any other rip off company sites you can think of? _________________ 2008 GMC Z71

Try David T's he can be a bit overpriced but has tons of parts. (Dont see a vert in his inventory but he has a lot of cars stripped down, just have to wait for him to do a part search)
http://www.ebay.com/itm/87-92-Camaro-Firebird-CONVERTIBLE-TONNEAU-HOOKS-91-tpi-90-89-88-Trans-Am-/370579710937?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item564845a3d9#ht_500wt_1054
Try this guy, he is parting out a couple verts might have the piece, says ask for parts in his add.
And there is a guy called virtual junkyard on facebook, nice guy and will hunt all the yards around him for parts, reasonable prices too if he can find it.
And Id help but my junk yards here have no verts [/url] _________________ 1987 - Trans am GTA, hooker headers, Borla catback, Cat delete, CAI, 9.6 @ 75mph 1/8mile

Flip rods. Top Down Solutions used to sell them but a quick search shows nil. You may email and see if Lon still has any/knows where to get them. Mine were snapped when I bought the car. I bought a new pair for ~$30 or so and they snapped with a week. Now It's just ingrained habit to reach in the window and lift the top by the second bow. Less stress on all the components I think?

Called a place out of Oklahoma. He said they go fast as well. Ive had this car 6 years and this is the first time to snap one??
Would also think, if these are known for going bad, a place would have redesigned it by now? Atleast some readly availible replacements?? |

Did you find anything on the flip rods? I was going through receipts and such from way back when and found the directions for when I bought them. Google searched the part number and found this;
