I sent the white car off to the scrapper today, I yanked the entire ac system out properly except for the condensor up by the radiator, anybody need parts? The ac worked when the car was driveable so they should all be good to go

And Aaron I yanked that piece off for you too

What year was that car? I have a leak somewhere in my system on my '91 but I haven't really diagnosed it yet, would you be able to hang on to the parts for a couple of weeks or do you need them gone right away?

It was an 89 they're the same as far as I know minus the compressor, that's the o ly iffy part for me because generally v6 parts don't fit v8s but who knows maybe theyrebthe same

Not seeing both of them together I would bet that all the compressors are the same, and only the mounting points and brackets vary. The compressor is not actually a GM part, it's an off-the-shelf unit that everybody buys and fits to their engine or chassis. Like a Saginaw box or a BW transmission.

I thought so buy I didn't want to say that, pressures would be the same and it looked like my old one but with the v6 bracket still attatched lol suprisingly enough when I pulled it apart and checked the orafice tube it was clean, so the previous owner obviously kept up on the ac.... But nothing else lol

IIRC, the compressor I acquired from Bruce came from a V6 car, it fit perfectly in the brackets for my 383. Ended up with a new one anyhow because it leaked through the shaft seal, I was told then that they are the same for both V6 and V8.

My blower motor is going away, so I might take that off your hands.
