I decided that I liked drop spindles, wanted belltech and Ian went on the hunt lol Found them on a kijiji add from an older guy in Ontario that had listed them a month before. Got lucky he still had them, and after a long transaction got them in the mail!
And Ill just run my stock brakes for now, going to replace my bearings and ball joints as discovered tonight that they should be done, but other then that Ill see what I can fit under my crosslaces otherwise ill be looking for new rims too....
But after a couple hours in the shop,
Before
1/2 after lol
Only got the pass side done tonight, but HUGE difference can't wait to see how low she sits once everything is all settled and have a few kms on her
From further back
See how crooked her nose is lol
and for comparison

I took my 89 over to MrMike98's place to see if his GTA crosslace wheels would fit my C5 brakes, they wouldn't clear the calipers. I'm thinking you'll need something with no more than a 12" rotor, my C5 rotors are 12.75". IIRC, Schultzy has a nice brake package under his crosslaces. _________________ 92 Camaro

There's a difference in 16" stock wheels too. Crosslaces are much tighter then my formula 16s. When Dan was creating his first brake upgrade we tried both my formys and Mike's crosslaces. Crosslaces were no go, formies fit fine.
Heck, 1LE stuff fits my 15s lol. |

Thought I should post up the almost done
Only took about 45mins to do the drivers side
All better
Now just to do the ball joints and bearings, and get an alignment and she is good to roll! _________________ 1987 - Trans am GTA, hooker headers, Borla catback, Cat delete, CAI, 9.6 @ 75mph 1/8mile
