Sounds like it was a good time, wish I coulda made it.
The worst part was the boss calling and telling me about his fishing trip, and the co-workers poker run etc. Oh well, next year. _________________ Killing mailboxes since 2009 |

My Camaro put down 296hp@5000 and 345tq@3500.
Good numbers, but I wish the hp was a little higher. For that I think I can pretty much blame my 1.5 primary FlowTech headers and 214/224 duration flat tappet camshaft. With a couple more parts I could take better advantage of the flow on my 200cc aluminum heads and push that RPM band a little higher for a bit more power.
On the bright side, greater than 300ft-lb at the wheels from 2100 to 5100 RPM. I have a broad, strong torque curve. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

Glad it went well. As stated the Dyno Curse is real.
Planned on coming down Friday. Got out of work a little late. Washed the car. Went to fire it up and the carb was flooding. Needle stuck open. Wouldn't clean out. Ordered a Kit from Napa. Picked it up Saturday when they opened and it was the wrong one. No one else had it locally. Said F-It and got drunk n played house. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

I'm not sure if this was part of the curse, but John's (RSFreak) TA had idling and heating issues on the way down and especially on the way back. I'm thinking the new thermostat he installed failed. The electric fan may have been pulling too much on the alternator causing it to stall out. Sorry to have missed the cruise too. _________________

Thanks to everybody, I had a blast even though I was hurting on Saturday! Too much fun Friday night I guess! Wish I had stayed for the cruise, but I needed sleep bad! I promise my car won't be squealing next time too! _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

Remember, just a washer or two should fix that belt alignment issue. _________________

Was great to see everyone and get caught up. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.
Thanks to John and Tony for their hospitality. Thank you to Skyler and Sami for the premium octane and Lama Brewster for the beers. Big props to Richster for the cool (and FREE) Cascade Crew ball caps. You all are very generous and it is appreciated.
Sorry I couldn't play any more this weekend but glad you all had a good time.
Cheers,
-Unca Schultzy |

I don't remember anything that happened after 11pm until I woke up at 0630 the next morning. Hope I wasn't too bad. _________________
