Did you have any particular goals in mind or just want a well matched cam for max performance for those heads/tpi? _________________ Red Sled: 89 GTA, 383, TKO, N2O

All those castings they list that it could be are way different.
IMHO Go with the Comp XE 262 cam on a 110LSA (if fuel injected get it on a 112.) |

its a non roller block... putting 85 tpi unit on it.. think fuel pump and adj fuel pressure reg he should get?
also... computer wise... 305 one gonna work? i got 24lbs i was gonna give him not sure what needs to be done in the computer department.
gonna be gettin close to puttin this thing together finally.. a long lost birdy will be back on the road _________________ 1985 Z28. Don't know what im doing stupid 4th gen broke me.

85 tpi is no good imho. The computers are harder to play with and have more MAF errors. You can't put a 350 chip in it, without making one yourself. Without changing the chip to 24lb injectors, it's going to run pig rich.
Make sure to get a 350 knock sensor also.
Fuel pump wont be an issue (if the car had tpi originally). Same with the fuel pressure reg. You've got bigger injectors you certainly don't need more pressure. |
