Two heads for SBC, 462624 casting. 76cc chambers. About 5-6 years ago I had them machined, checked and all the valves, guides, valve springs and retainers replaced with factory equivalent new parts. They got a 3-angle valve job and new 1.94/1.5 valves. Slight milling, just enough to make them flat. They were checked for cracks (common on this lightweight casting in the exhaust ports) and none were found. Springs are theoretically good to at least .480 lift, I ran a cam with .480/.480 and had no problems spinning the springs to 6k. At dyno two years ago these heads put down 270RWHP/320RWTQ on my 8.5:1ish 355. (This may be a fluke due to my excellent tuning and awesome MegaSquirt/Stealth Ram combo. )
They do a small blue smoke Chevy salute at first cold start, but all things considered that's a relatively minor nitpick.
Good for bringing a tired old gummed up 350 back to life, holding light things down in a windstorm, small boat anchors (like a dinghy!), home defense (throw them at intruders!), and many other things. However, they are best at letting small amounts of fuel and air into an engine and evacuating all the exhaust when you're done with it. Won't let you down!
$40 for both and I'll toss in a set of factory pushrods. They come with stamped rockers and press-in studs. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

If I were to use them for defence purposes, would I need a CCW? _________________ Killing mailboxes since 2009 |

Heck, you could open carry these all day long. No CCW required. And they would make you stronger too. You could be a massive hunk carrying two massive hunks (of iron). _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

Hmm, and I saw on a commercial a while back that chicks dig a guy that goes around picking up heavy things and grunting a lot.
Unfortunately, thats about the only use I'd get out of them, so as tempting as it is to lure the womens in with, I'll have to pass. _________________ Killing mailboxes since 2009 |

Price has been changed to 2 sixpacks of tasty brew if anyone wants to bring a tired 350 back to life.
I want to stop tripping over these things. I stubbed my toe on them today and it hurt. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56
