There is an LT1/T56 car at the Tacoma/Lakewood Pick-n-Pull. When I was there earlier today the drivetrain still complete except for the MAF sensor and shifter, but the car was on the end of a row and there were several people going through it.

There was also a bright red '87 Firebird with the GTA-style door panels in average shape with armrests. They were cut for crank windows.

Also a blue '85 Berlinetta with the digi-dash. Radio was gone but the dash and switches on either side were there.

There was an LT1/4L60e car at the Lynnwood yard that some yokel pulled the intake/tb and butchered half the harness off of. I would almost pay to see the guys expression when he realizes he can't put it on his '91era c1500 pick'em up truck.

Think they have a 15% off sale this weekend too. That'd be a steal for someone.

That would be a heck of a buy, and the radio commercial I just heard said if you buy over $100 you get 30% off, unless it's a premier yard. I'd go get it if I knew for sure it was still there. But a 350 mile round trip for noting if it's gone wouldn't be be much fun.

Went today. The T-56 is gone. The LT1 is still there. Couple decent 4thgens including a 3.8L Firebird mostly intact. There were also 4-5 3rdgens, but they were junk with few usable parts. Sad

Was the 3.8 bird a T5?

Did it still have the power steering stuff in it?

OK, but since everything else down there was junk, I probably won't be back for a while. However I do have my eye on a stock serp setup on one of those 'Maros. Wink
