Yup, she's for sale again! My grandfather bought this car new in '94 and it had just reached '65k miles when he gave it to me in '08! This car features a 3.0L V-6 auto, new tires all the way around (less than 100 miles on them!) and a clean title! She needs a heater core and has a weird issue (voltage drop?) which caused me to have to install a new starter every 3 months or so. As my work car, I was starting the car about 10 times a day, so that was probably a factor in the longevity of the starters. I am asking $1000 on Craigslist, but Crewbies get a sizable discount! Make me an offer! _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

A guy who already owns a '97 Taurus wagon and has 4 kids to haul around! He seemed very familiar with the 3.0L Vulcan and wasn't worried about the issues with mine (except I forgot to mention the starter issue!) _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

You already know what the starter issue is, though. It's that ignition wire. Needs to be replaced or rejiggered via a relay or something. Would have been an easy fix, John. |

No need to fix since I didn't plan on keeping the car. |
