i dyno'd last fall and had a bov leak so i couldn't get it above 10 p.s.i.
so my max hp is 387.68hp and 497.62 of torque. i need to get it back up to 500 hp but using a different cam and carb. my timing is locked out at 23 degrees may need to go 30.

Anything internal done to the motor? It seems awfully lean at almost 13:1 for my liking on a boosted vehicle.
Good run though. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

well marty at stomberger performance says im spot on if i go any richer i'll foul out my plugs at idle. Had a spare 350 out of a 1970 camaro and had the engine rebuilt at cassell engines. I have the stock forged crank, scat forged I rods and dished ICON forged pistons with chrome molys. i also i have 441 heads rebuilt with 2.02 valves ported and polished. the combustion chambers were so uneven cc'd the heads and had 72 to 75 cc so made them all 75.5 cc chambers. also using a turbo cam that marty is using in his 7 sec TT trans am.
my old engine had the forged parts except for the pistons which were speed pro hypers' and had the 993 heads( which are more desirable gm stock heads to work with) 2.02 valves ported and polished. also a stock cam that cam with the block. _________________

Man, that thing must rip tires loose all day long!
Is it the cam holding you back or do you just need to uncork that thing with more air flow? (in other words, will a cam help much?) |

im not sure i went with a turbo cam with a least amount of valve overlap but still using the 1.6 roller rockers on both exhaust and intake. i did downsize the carb to a 650 from my 750. but i did replace the bov and fixed the leaks.
And yes i lay down good rubber doing 35 mph while dragging the brakes. can cant help it on wet pavement.
i also got a GoPro camera so ill be videoing it for your viewing pleasure. _________________

Nice sleeper. You got a leaky ignition system though. I can hear spark arc in the vid. |

yeah i've been having problems with that notice the different color wires there i'm unable to run a wire loom there and the pipes are hard to avoid on that side. i need to find some long socks to put on the wires. and get some header wrap for the cross over pipe as its close to the charge pipe. _________________

Sorry for the rattle. Im using a go pro hero hd suction cupped to my t-top. I am thinking about getting a roll cage mount for the go pro. _________________
