Travis, they shut alot of them off. Depends on how deep, or where its located. That was a main road and only way to get somewhere. If there was any decent alternative way, it would have been closed.

Wow, that's a pretty cool video. It takes some serious skill to be able to drift a bike like that. Was that the cobra or something else that they rolled at the end? _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S

I was gonna guess S13 too... didn't want to look dumb though because I wasn't too sure. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

Link wouldn't work, fixed it. Though that plane is probably higher than it looks, it's still pushing a lot of air and creating a "wake" like a boat would do. Pretty tough for that guy to remain on his feet _________________ 92 Camaro

I suppose this is what I get for not sending you into the house to watch cartoons.
But actually Bullwinkle trying to sing The wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald is pretty funny. |

Heads up fellas: in Washington State there is a law on the books for at least the last six years that enables the police to write tickets to people based solely on online videos that are posted up showing blatant cases of negligent and reckless driving. Apparently the most common way to prove that is based upon how fast you pass other cars on the road going the same direction as you, along with obvious things like sideways burnouts and wheelies.
I had two guys from my bike club (pnwriders.com) get busted for posting up videos of themselves on youtube. One was of him wheelying on the freeway, the other was mountain twisties riding and passing cars at 100+mph in a 35mph no passing zone. One of those guys warned me and told me what his lawyer said not to do:
1. NEVER EVER show your license plate or close up of your face.
2. Never admit over the phone or in person to someone you don't know (especially a uniformed cop) that it was you in the video. Don't roll your eyes or think "Duhh" because 75% of you guys would do it when a menacing cop is staring you down and daring you to lie. For those of you married for 10+ years, we constitute the 25% who would not break down.
3. Never rat out your friends in the video's, which includes not showing there plates or faces during the race. Showing the plates and faces at the meet up point is ok, just not 'in car' during the race.
4. Plead the fifth and don't ever admit to anything when people you don't directly know try to get you to admit it was you in the video (even other Crew members you can't vouche for who try to get a direct admission of guilt out of you on this website).
Way around it? Simple: have someone other then you post up the video's. I've heard from guys in other states around the US with similar laws that cops will try to link the car in the video's to the owner of the account where they are posted. IF there is no link, there can be no prosecution.
I had to delete over a dozen very very high quality amazing video's of my own mountain corner carving along with another dozen vids that had my paranoid friends in it. If any of you need someone to host your vids, I'm more then willing to do it just get them to me via my email tlperman@comcast.net My youtube name is http://www.youtube.com/user/aZX14blurr?feature=mhee |

Since this is a You-Tube thread...
This was seen on ABC World News last night, a snowboarding bird.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZhhXio5hxM
Title says it's a Crow, which is an incredibly smart bird. I read one of the comments from the same video by another author that said it's a Jackdaw (European and part of the Crow family), since the video is Russian, Jackdaw fits the bill |

How the hell do you design an engine to have that much power?????
I guess it depends on how long it needs to last is a factor, but those are some crazy forces to contend with. |
