A bit more uniform on the array layout coupled with a pwm setup for the running lights and they'd be on to something.

I love being able to see individual LED's. I hate the fluted lenses. I really like the way they did their setup. I noticed that for the turn signals they had what looked liked rectangular LED's? Never seen that before. Eventually I'll do something very similar... When I have the time and patience for it. Unfortunately they're not taking anymore orders according to their website.

BTW, what does PWM stand for?

In some states, that sequential lighting is illegal.

In some states it's illegal to have no front, plate, smoked lights, no cats, HID's, 20% tint, yellow fog lights...

I know. Crying or Very sad

I asked the parts guy what I get for 105 bucks, he said lights.
I mentioned that in some places 105 will get a whole lot more than that including the penicillin.

Stupid ol Honda.

Sounds like it's time for a trip to the junkyard.

What's the mode/year interchange on it?

Gabe got it; Pulse Width Modulation. To the naked eye, it "dims" an LED by basically turning the power into morse code. Flash the power a couple hundred times a second and to us the LED doesn't look like it's totally on. Gives the option to have a "running light" and "brake light" function.

HID's themselves are not illegal but mounting them in a reflector housing/modifying the stock light spray is illegal.

You know they sell those at parts stores, right? Standard D2S bulb is like 80 bucks at o'reilly. I can't imagine it being much more/less at other stores.

105 was including tax. I am sure I can find it cheaper elsewhere, but after driving out to civilization the gas money for that special trip would equalize it a bit.
Found it on the net for 59, don't know if that included shipping or not. Either way it sucks that a light bulb should ever come anywhere near that expensive.

I've got a bunch of superflux LEDs waiting for me to make tail lights out of. I'm still trying to figure it all out but I'm thinking of making 3 x 4 arrays using pwm for tail, and resistor for brake/turn.
