Any opinions?
I've found a few new ones since I've been on deployment, it seems like Carrelsburgh is the budweiser of the East.
I'd have to say my favorite so far would be this "Tiger Beer" I had in Malaysia. _________________ Sink or Swm |

It all depends on what style(s) you like. |

I hated Tiger and Anchor when I visited Singapore in my Navy days. They both gave me bad headaches, and not from hangover, I have heard that formaldehyde is used as a preservative over there, don't know the truth behind that though.
On my recent trips to Osaka, I really enjoyed the Sapporo, Asahi, and Kirin brews. _________________ 92 Camaro

Best kind of beer? Pfft. Why not argue about religion?
Recently I have purchased myself some of the 21st Holiday stuff they call 'Fireside Chat' which I personally like but I could see other people not liking.
I also think I am finally at a point where I need a break from Dead Guy. I have been buying a LOT of those Costco 24 packs and the monotony of it is starting to wear on me. |

Aaron, you need to make a trip down to portland for the holiday ale fest.
Ohh, and if you can find it anywhere up there, Vinter Varmer by Laurelwood brewing is a great winter beer. |

You are not wrong, John.
Is there a better/worse day for the festival? |

Oh Tiger. I've had my run-ins with Tiger during my trips to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Certainly not the best beers in my opinion but certainly great after being stuck on a ship for months. I never had a problem with the headaches myself but I heard those rumors as well. |

Fireside chat is good for me for one beer in the evening. 21st Amendment is just darn good beer.
I still have a soft spot for Alaskan Winter.
No help on the overseas bears really. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

Good, but I honestly like their Oatis better.
While we're on the topic of foreign beer bears, is anyone here into Sam Smith's? I am partial to their Oatmeal Stout and their Taddy Porter. |

Has anyone heard of the nano-brewery "Epic Ales"? I think I'm going to bar crawl through downtown and find as many nano-breweries and I can _________________ Sink or Swm |

Duh.. the best beer is FREE!
Oh,.. i know there are some that are hardly worth drinking even free. I mean just how evil does a beer have to be to suck so bad even free its undrinkable? |

By that I'm sure you mean all Anheuser Busch products regardless. |

I was rather suprised to find out "shock top" was put out by Anheuser-Busch. I still prefer "blue moon", of course that's put out by Coors.
A Kilt-Lifter from Pike street, does me well. |

Oakshire beers are excellant.
Ninkasi beers arent balanced too well.
Rogue rocks but they are spread too thin.
Stone is good but they dont distribute much up north.
Sierra Nevada pale is a good.
And anything i brew is the best. _________________ E30
