HEy everyone, just got my hooker shorties put on... Drove it around the block, found it had lost alot of low end. I was driving on open collectors. Would a Y pipe or the Y and the rest of the exhaust restore it? I get them on tuesday but had to fire it up to celebrate getting them in... Just curious if that loss of low end was normal because it seems people at the strip run on open after the Y pipe all the time for good power.
When i drove it I realized I had the firing order of cylinders 6 and 8 switched, so that could do somethin to the power too.... _________________ 1991 RS Mostly stock, the IKM, Import Killing Machine |

having the Y pipe on, will likely aid in the scavaging effect of the system. |
