|
i have a couple sets of high dollar wheels that i'm not going to be using, and i have been tossing around the idea of selling for a while now. i looked at using them on my camaro and different idea's have grown on me and i am going to do some fund raising for a new set of wheels so i am going to liquidate some parts and pieces i have laying around.
first set:
CCW Classics in 18x11 front (needs a 1.25" spacer to fit perfect, but will work with 1")
18X12 rear (needs 1" spacer)
with a set of goodyear eagle road race slicks mounted on them that literally have ONE track session on them! these are the "race series" CCW's as they call them. they are polished lip with black centers. this is a $3800 package from CCW. this is reffered as the big street classic setup for C5's.
PRICE: $1500
Second set:
HRE 540's
front 17x9.5-54mm,rear 18x10.5-58mm
these will work with a variety of spacer combo's. these are basically stock C5 Z06 fitment, and fit like any 4th gen or C5 wheel will on 3rd gen cars.
they have toyo T1R's on them that are about 75% tread front and rear.
this wheel adn tire combo is just over $6400 new!!!
looking for $1750 obo for this set.
pics are attatched. _________________ 1992 Camaro 1LE Z28 |

| Man, I would love those CCW's, but the spacing just is a no go with the setup I have (and as of last night, I am now broke again, lol), but good luck with the sale, those are some killer wheels! |

If Dewey and I both weren't cheapskates, sounds like you would have them both sold! I love the HREs. They would be killer on my car, but like I said I'm a cheapskate. That cuts into my eventual T56/LSx dough. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

They are both beautiful wheels! But, I must say.... I am partial to the HRE's. I have never seen such a gorgeously finished wheel in my life.
Make some offers guys !!! Ya never know!! _________________ 1992 Camaro 1LE Z28 |

just talked to CCW and they quoted me $150 per wheel to purchase and install new polished or anodized centers with whatever offsets i wanted for the classics. not too bad for new pieces.
i'd let them go for $1250 if somebody wants them. _________________ 1992 Camaro 1LE Z28 |

Any scratches, dings, anything on any of those wheels?
What if I took all 8 wheels off your hands for a package deal? I think you have a freight account to make shipping pretty cheap, don't you? |

| Man those CCWs are ultra tempting! No way I could use them with the 4thgen rear without new centers though. Bah! |

idk what offsets you'd need but when i stuck them on my dads 98 SS they fit perfectly flush with the quarters, the only place they rubbed was on the front inner wheel tub. needed the BFH mod! make a quick trip down to portland this weekend for the last late nights and lets test them! _________________ 1992 Camaro 1LE Z28 |

the CCW's have a few minor scratches in the centers, no real damage!
the HRE's are borderline flawless tho!
i'll make you a package deal. i'm gonna go ahead and say my bottom dollar would be $2500 for both pairs, you pay for shipping.
and yes i do have a discounted wholesale UPS account. let me know! _________________ 1992 Camaro 1LE Z28 |

Very very good deal. Let me think about it and I'll get back with you. The CCW seem too large for me to use. The HRE are more what I was after but I have to decide if I'm willing to use wheel adapters.
Thanks. |
