Going to take the 74 and see if i've done any good this summer. I still have a couple mods to install, but running out of time/weather I think. So going to run it as is.

Nah.... last night. T/C or flexplate gave it up on the trailer, so I didn't even get a run in.

Best ET was 14.322@97.04.. my very next run 14.323@ 97.31... can you say bracket racer? lol

Best mph was 98.15. best 60ft 2.234 so.. i was hooking pretty good with a pegleg and street tires! lol

I did have a shizzle load of ballast for traction. I filled up in Cathlamet and figured out my mileage. 21.3mpg!! holy crap! 75miles later at the track my tank still read over full.. Thats 18 gallons (21gal tank) of fuel hanging out behind the rear axle.

Checked out Skyler's(not tyler Razz ) car. Sweet camaro! Love low black cars and the high spoiler looks great.

My evil twin was there. There was a 74 camaro with red fenders(same red I had) and the rest primered black. He had a cowl hood and the same interior as I do. Sorry to say he was a bit faster though. Mid 12s @ 107

Ya.. no more stumble, bog or outright dying 100yds down the track.

Odd but one of the things that made the biggest difference was changing to an "H" hanger on the qjets secondaries.

Only made 2 runs:

60': 2.38
1/8: 9.952 @ 72.55
1/4: 15.454 @ 90.52

60': 2.49
1/8: 10.017 @ 71.17
1/4: 15.393 @ 91.78

Not the times I was hoping for to say the least. Once I learn how to launch the car better and get the 60' down to at least a 2.00 it will see 14's. That mph indicates 14's as well. 2nd run I spun all through first gear as well but all my shifts were a little quicker. Only a couple runs prior a car overheated and left antifreeze on the starting line.

Oh and one last thing. Earlier today I put new plug wires on it and it turns out my 4 and 6 plug wires were mixed up on the cap Embarassed lol, now I'm really curious to see what it will run next week.

Ahh yes, the tried-and-true plug wire excuse. Laughing

I keed, I keed. I seem to recall quite a few people having that kind of stuff happen to them throughout the years here. Very Happy
