Major suckage dude. At least you're staying positive and have another job already. Is it with the last company you were with? _________________

| Thanks guys. My old work heard i was looking and sent an offer. Things always work out and im greatful for that. Sure was fun designing chassis's for a while! Something many people dont get the chance to do. I will be designing airplane stuff again and hope to have more fun this time around. |

| How important is location to you? CAT is hiring. Far more stable than RV and aircraft industries. And you can buy a nice house in a nice neighborhood for $160K. |

| There is rumor of relocating some of the engineers over to Indiana but I'm not interested in the mid-west. I heard that CAT is a great place to work though. One of the guys I worked with was a regional guy for them and raved about how great they were. |

I can't remember, are you talking about Boeing? Didn't they move headquarters to Chicago or somewhere like that? If they did come to Illinois they got screwed. Big state tax hikes are coming to businesses.
Indianapolis is actually a nice city, as far as big cities go. Moving to northern Indiana.... think twice about that. It's run down dirty old cities. |
