That go un-noticed, but can also much a guy so happy.

Such as.

Fuel Pressure. Very Happy

And the things the cause no fuel pressure, like a 1.5" peice of rubber line, that attaches the pump.

Also, while I had stuff out, I figured I would snap a picture of one of those things that has been debated for so long on TGO.

Here you go...the ever illlusive baffled thirdgen fuel tank. Yes guys, they do exist, and no, they did come on cars other than Candian Players 1LE.

My friends IROC, a 1989 305 5 Speed, has the baffled tank. The window sticker mentioned it as optional equipment.

Congrats on the fix dewey. Big or small, you are running again right?

I know how you feel Dewey, its always the little stuff you think of last and 8 times out of 10 its what the problem is.

glad you knocked it out though. Now if tony and I could just do the same with his transmission......

I recently had a vapor lock problem which was caused by a cooling issue that I have since addressed. At the time I thought the pump had gone bad and that I now had a perfect excuse to upgrade my fuel system. I am jealous of your new fuel pump. Oh well, I'm sure my pump is gonna go any day now... Sad
